Many of you will have seen the movie Pay it Forward starring Hayley Joel Osment, Kevin Spacy and Helen Hunt.

Where a young boy sets out to make the world a better place after his teacher gives him the same chance. The boy, young Trevor, ( played by Hayley) is set an assignment. Think of something to change the world and put it into action.

Trevor conjures up the notion of paying a favour forward rather than paying a favour back to someone. Repaying good deeds not with a payback but a pay forward with three new deeds  to three new people.

Trevors efforts make good on his idea and and bring about a revolution of goodness paid forward. This shows up not only in the lives of himself, his mother ( Helen Hunt) and his physically and emotionally scarred teacher ( Kevin Spacey) but also in those of an ever widening circle of people completely unknown to him.

So with the help of Trevor the school social studies assignment leads to changes from city to city.....

It is a remarkable movie with a a poignant message for us all. If you have not seen the movie  - DO! Its a must and a real joy to watch.

So where does Pure Coaching fit into all of this? Simple.......

It can be a small act of kindness, such as paying the toll for the car driving behind you or helping someone, rather than walking by in a rush.
